The KS-300-smart receiver/switch, which controls the main lighting in the room, such as a chandelier or sconce, is programmed onto the same channel or another available channel.

This gives you the ability to use a remote control to turn on/off and dim any decorative lighting in the room, and use the same remote control to turn on/off the main lighting.
