LED Strip Control Signal Amplifiers
To reduce the load on RGB controllers and simultaneously connect a large number of LED strips, control signal amplifiers are used. The controller signal is sent to the device input, the amplifier increases its power to the required value and transmits it to the RGB module. Thanks to this technique, you can create arbitrarily long lines of LED lighting.
What are RGB amplifiers for?
LED strips of certain configurations help to organize various options for lighting objects and create the desired mood in the room. Lighting modes are controlled through three-channel controllers. These devices allow you to mix red, green and blue color signals, regulate their intensity, speed and order of switching on. In simple cases, dimmers are chosen - devices with which you can smoothly change the brightness of LED lamps in the track.
If it is necessary to illuminate a room along the perimeter or create a line of complex shape, the LED strip turns out to be quite long, and each 5-meter section of the strip must be connected parallel to the other to the controller or dimmer. With a large number of such connections, the load on the control system may become too great, and the controller will fail. To avoid this, an amplifier is selected based on the total power consumption.
