Breakthrough in LED strip technology!

The new generation of COB (Chip on Board) LED strips from TM "VERSO" has a number of advantages over SMD diodes. LED chips are densely located directly on the board, covered with a common phosphor - which gives a continuous, smooth, glowing line of high intensity. The technology has been around for many years and has been tested in the field of spotlights and lamps, and is now used in LED strips, and at an affordable price.

LED strips COB from TM "VERSO" is a universal solution for the production of lamps from profiles with a small depth. It can be used without a profile, thanks to a wide angle of 170 ° -180 ° it gives a soft light, does not "hurt the eye"

- due to the location of the LED chips directly on the board, heat dissipation is improved, which reduces the degradation of the LEDs and extends the service life of the LED strip.

- Uniform glow of the LED strip line and a wide glow angle allows you to place it in shallow profiles - with uniform glow without dark spots. Even in such shallow ones as: X300, X302, X303, X400, X1301, X3101, X1400, X800.

- the absence of large solder spots, as on SMD LED strips, allows the strip to be bent at smaller angles, which is important when manufacturing lamps of complex shapes.

- for uniform glow of the COB LED strip TM "VERSO" in aluminum profiles, you can use not too matte diffusers and lenses, which reduces light loss and allows you to get the same amount of light with less consumption.
- High color rendering index CRI=90Ra, LED COB strips FLT66 and FLT68 are high-quality light recommended for counter lighting and for main lighting.

- It must be admitted that when dimming (reducing the brightness) of the COB LED strip, the LED dots become more distinct. But still, the number of LEDs per meter is very large (for strips from TM "VERSO" it is from 336 to 528), so this effect is not so critical, and under the matte lens of the diffuser it is completely unnoticeable.
- This direction of LED strips is gaining popularity all over the world. It should be noted that COB strips identical in quality to TM "VERSO" strips in Europe cost twice as much as new products.
- The cost of COB strips exceeds the cost of SMD analogs at the moment, and manufacturers are looking for ways to make this technology cheaper and more accessible. At the moment, for the implementation of more budgetary projects, the FLT65 LED strip is offered, with reduced chips, 336 pieces per meter. This strip is comparable in price and parameters to the popular FLT12-8mm strip, but has the above-mentioned advantages of COB strips, the main thing is a much more uniform glow.

Application of COB LED strips TM "VERSO".

They are used in all traditional areas for LED strips. In many cases, the use of COB strips expands the possibilities, simplifies installation and improves the quality of the result.
Due to the possibility of placement in less deep profiles - we get excellent results with less labor costs, it becomes possible to install in much thinner bases. This concerns primarily furniture lighting.


When producing custom lamps using COB tapes, the possibilities for bending angles, thickness and uniformity of glow are expanded.

COB strips are ideal for backlighting mirrors - the base of the mirror can now be much thinner with uniform illumination.

When arranging cornice lighting in the interior, one often encounters the fact that SMD strips give a point reflection in the adjacent surface, for example, a stretch ceiling. COB strips solve this problem without matte diffusers for matte surfaces and reduce it to a minimum on glossy ones.

When installing shallow LED profiles (X800) in the floor, for uniform illumination, it was necessary to install LED SMD strips with 240 diodes (FLT14UB), in some cases it turned out that this was too bright - it was necessary to additionally purchase a dimmer. Now this problem is solved very simply - by installing the LED strip COB from TM "VERSO".
